Arlis Williams
Arlis is a lucky guy, his wife and daughter forced him back into racing. Well force might be a strong word. Arlis raced back in the 80’s and stopped. He started racing again in 1991 in the street stock class at Kil-Kare. He did pretty good and in 1996 won the championship in street stocks at Kil-Kare. He thought that he had reached the top of the ladder in racing and stopped racing. Arlis and his family were fans and they went to Kil-Kare as spectators. Sonja could tell that he want to be back out there and suggested that they should get back into racing.
He went out and bought a modified and started racing. In 2013 he finished 2nd in points. That same year the acquired a late model and raced in the Robbie Dean Series. That was an eventful event on about lap 30 he had a meeting with the wall and that was not good for the car.
In 2014 he continued to race the late model and had Bob Silba drove the modified.
This year Bob Silba will drive a limited schedule in the # 7 modified and Jamie sites will drive the # 8 modified and Anthony Heitzman # 10 modified and Arlis William will drive the # 8 late model.
