Rob Schaeff has been racing for 20 years. He started racing in the late model class and ran there for two years. Rob had a tough time in the late models due to the high level of competition. Rob moved to the Pro Stock Class for a few years before returning back to racing late model for 4 more years.
During the time he raced in the Pro Stock Class, he finished second in points for the Championship in 2001. In 2002 he improved on that and won the Pro Stock Championship.
Rob then returned back to late models to give it another try one more time. In 2008 he wrecked his late model and decided to run a Modified in the Modified class.
He has worked hard and raced the modified with little success. In 2013 Rob finished 7th in the points race. Last year after facing the challenges of the modified class got his first heat race win. With the rule changes this year he feels that he has a chance to compete for the championship in the Modified classis looking good.
Helping Rob wrench on the car is his friend Nick Smith.
His sponsors are Winget Race Cars and Dick Paint and Body.
