Rodney Brugh has mixed feeling about racing this year.
His dad passed away recently and his dad has always been there. He has been around racing since he was 12 years with his dad, Robert and Gene Ginn. In 1980 they bought a Pro Stock and Gene Ginn (his uncle) drove the car. They raced a late model in 1985 and bought John Vallo’s car that he won track championships at Kil-Kare, CMS, and Shadybowl in the 1985.
Rodney started driving street stocks in 1991 and has raced many times at Shadybowl. He has raced recently at CMS and Shadybowl. His dad has always been there to help him if he had problems or needed help. That help is no longer there so he is using the knowledge that he gained from his dad and Gene.
He has purchased a Kimmel car and has the car ready to race the 200 lap Triple Crown CRA SSS. He is excited about racing in the CRA street stock series. He believes the CRA is a great organization and does a good job providing outstanding racing for fans and drivers. He is looking forward to driving the Kentucky Speedway and Anderson along with Shadybowl which he considers his home track.
