Brian Gerster
Brian was raised in the Indianapolis area and from a young age wanted to race. Over the years he has completed in many types of open wheel cars including pavement and dirt midgets, Silver Crown cars and pavement and dirt wing and non-wing sprints.
He spends most of his time now racing with the Must See Extreme Sprint Series. He is driving the 50M Mopar car for car owners Deborah and Richard Meyers. His team won the 2013 and 2014 Championship
Brian started go-kart racing in 1984. In 1987 he was Ohio Valley Kart Association Class Champion.
1992 lead him to “rookie of the year” in the USAC Midgets Series. 1997 He passed his Indy Car Rookie at Phoenix International Raceway. He earned many awards and titles along the way.
2001 – 2004 He was a color analyst and pit reporter for ESPN “Thunder” series races.
He Finished 3rd in the 64 Annual Little 500 at Anderson Speedway.
He likes the Must See Series because it provides great racing with excellent competition at a variety of tracks.
He is looking forward to racing at Shadybowl since it has been several years since he raced there but has several midget races under his belt there.
